Why is this Recession bad again?

Im 22 years old and i don't own stock, I don't own a home,  gas is cheaper, the price of houses are plummeting. I know this might ignorant of me but at this point in my life Why is this recession bad again?

 I understand that the Dow is the lowest it has been in years, Banks are having a hard time lending money and further more big business are going under almost on a daily basis. I also understand that many people in a sense gambled with their money, made unreasonable investments trying to get a quick buck, banks and business are abusing and misusing bail out money and average people were financially being ignored by the government.

 From my prospective i think nature should take its course, Big businesses should go under and banks go bankrupt. Heck I wish my bank would go bankrupt, It would save me alot of money in student loans (just kidding). But really if everything is left just as is YES alot more people would change economic status but i think it would be alot of the wealthy becoming average as well as the upper lower becoming average. Every solution that i see is to keep things the way they were, I think i like the way things are now so I say forget these bailouts and Down with the system!!!  right?
